Divorce ---- Part 1

I am Wally Holmer bringing this article on divorce. Since there are so many divorces I thought it very necessary to bring this message. One out of three marriages land on the rocks.

Why are there so many divorces ? There are a lot of reasons. Three of the biggest reasons are sex, time, and money. In today’s society the husband and the wife has to work. In a lot of cases they both they both have to work to keep up with the Jones. Some times this brings their work with other men and women. So what happens so often Satan puts in the  heart of the man or the women lust.  And before you know it there is a love affair going on. The next thing that happens is a divorce.

Time – In a lot of cases since both are working there is a no prime time together. Well that is like not being married . Do you agree ?

Money--- Also since there is not enough money the wife has to work. In some cases the husband takes most or all the money this could cause divorce. Perhaps some traditions come from the old country across the ocean. Any how that is what I heard. Over credit and poor money management are major problems in marriages.

Sex--- Sex relations to often or rarely. The scriptures teach we should live in temperance:

Galatians 5:23 Meekness, temperance : against there is no law. 1 Cor. 7:3-5  Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and like wise also the husband hath not the power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud ye not the one the other, except it be with consent for a time,  that ye give yourselves to fasting and prayer.
  
According to statistics the ages from 23 to 27 are  more likely to get a divorce. Also some of the things that cause a divorce is a lack of commitment. To much conflict and infidelity.
  
In-laws some times cause divorces. We had a wonderful married couple living next door to us. They had children. The in-laws on his wife’s side move in a trailer on the same property. The in-laws were not there very long. That is when it all happened and their marriage went on the rocks. All because of the in-laws. God knows what is best.

God says in Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
  
That is how we get into trouble when we do not listen to what God is saying in the Holy Bible. That is why we should read the Holy Bible every day. Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
